Map and restore seagrass, oyster reefs, and living shorelines.
The Problem
Seagrass, oyster reefs, and living shorelines are the lagoon's foundation — filtering water, stabilizing sediments, and sheltering juvenile fish. Large acreages have collapsed, and restoration success depends on picking the right sites and tracking survival.
Our Approach
Map habitat extent and condition with sonar, aerial imagery, and diver surveys; model where restoration will survive; deploy oyster modules, seagrass plantings, and living shoreline structures; and monitor recovery with repeat surveys.
