Water Quality
Low-cost sensors and buoys for real-time lagoon monitoring.
The Problem
The lagoon's health depends on dissolved oxygen, salinity, temperature, chlorophyll, and turbidity — but dense, real-time data is sparse. Existing monitoring stations are costly, widely spaced, and often offline when conditions change fastest.
Our Approach
Develop and deploy networks of low-cost, rugged sensor buoys and canal-inlet probes that stream live water-quality data. Calibrate against authoritative stations, surface anomalies (fish-kill precursors, algae shifts), and make data public.
